Job Description
4Top Hospitality, a locally owned multi-concept restaurant group, is now accepting applications for a Sales Manager. This position is responsible for generating revenue through private dining, catering, and overall brand awareness for some of the Nashville-area locations. The Sales Manager will work in conjunction with our Sales team to represent the 4Top family of restaurants, which include Amerigo, Char, etch, etc. and Jasper’s Restaurants.
Through networking, prospecting, and outbound sales, the Sales Manager should maximize the restaurants’ exposure and increase sales through bookings and events at multiple locations. He/she will work closely with management, kitchen staff, Chefs, and the marketing team to coordinate details for events, create menus, serve as the liaison between the guest and the restaurant staff for events and catering orders, and coordinate marketing needs to properly sell properties to local businesses and organizations. The Sales Manager will represent the restaurants at community events, tasting events, and networking opportunities. Due to the nature of the restaurant industry, nights and weekends may be required.
Required skills and knowledge:
- 5-7 years of experience in a Sales & Event Management role
- Background in outside sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong organizational skills are a must
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft programs. Other programs are a plus but not required: OpenTable, TripleSeat
- Self-starter with strong time management skills
- Flexibility to work varying schedules to reflect the needs of the restaurant
The most important trait is that the candidate has the ability and desire not to be micro-managed and is passionate about working autonomously while still being able to work as part of a team.
